Radiator Hose Kit compatible with all HUMVEE HMMWV Turbo engines*
Includes:
1 of 4720015658134 (Lower)
1 of 4720015657612(Upper)
1 of 4720011881370 (Radiator Outlet Same as 998)
1 of 12340046 (Surge Tank Hose) (square bottom coolant tank).
- Note that the Outside Diameter of the upper radiator hose in this kit (O.D.) will be Approximately 1.78 to 1.85 inches. If your radiator hose that you’re replacing is significantly larger than this, your coolant system has been modified and your upper radiator hose will have to be replaced from another source such as an industrial supply house or Auto parts store. The rest of this kit will work fine.
When installing a new hose kit on your HUMVEE, it is advised that you install a new radiator cap at the same time. Buy HERE.
Make sure your system hasn’t been customized before ordering this kit:
This turbo hose kit is manufactured to fit standard factory military setups, but civilian or aftermarket modifications can change the required hose dimensions.
Here are the most probable reasons why your standard turbo hose won't fit this specific vehicle:
- Civilian vs. Military Radiator Swaps: If the owner has swapped out a leaking factory military radiator for a civilian variant, such as a Hummer H1 radiator or certain aftermarket aluminum replacements (like Champion Radiators), the inlet and outlet port locations and diameters differ.
Dual Thermostat Upgrades: Many Humvee owners upgrade their older 6.5L setups to a dual-thermostat crossover housing to improve cooling efficiency. The physical positioning and outlet angles of a dual-thermostat housing require a different upper hose geometry compared to the factory single-thermostat housing included in your standard turbo fleet profile.
A0/A1 Body vs. Expanded Capacity Vehicle (ECV) Setups: If the truck was upgraded with an ECV-style heavy cooling stack or features a modified body/frame setup, the distance and alignment between the thermostat housing and the top of the radiator shifts, rendering standard molded hoses either too short or misaligned.
