The sand dunes of the Sahara shifted beneath them, but the men of the Rat Patrol never wavered. Streaking across the sun-scorched, unforgiving terrain of North Africa during World War II, these daring units relied on speed, heavy firepower, and ultimate stealth to disrupt enemy lines. With machine guns blazing and tires kicking up the blinding desert dust, they transformed the desert into their personal battleground.
To honor the profound courage and relentless spirit of these desert warriors, we offer this special edition RAPCO paint kit, which proudly brings history back to life with our premium, highly accurate restoration paints. This signature 3-color desert camouflage pattern perfectly captures the iconic look of the era's specialized military machinery with three authentic, ultra-flat RAPCO shades:
- Camouflage Sand (30277): The core base shade, heavily relied upon for vintage US and allied desert deployments.
- Camouflage Earth Yellow (30257): A rich, warm sand tone featuring strong yellow undertones to capture true desert contrast.
- Late WWII Lusterless Olive Drab (319) or Early WWII Olive Drab (33070):The deep, non-reflective military green needed to break up visual profiles against the shifting sand and rocks.
Engineered to endure the harshest conditions, RAPCO's single-stage industrial enamels deliver a flawless, historically accurate finish for your next restoration project.
